Cram for the Exam dates:
To be confirmed
In my experience of preparing students for external exams the saying "that was the hardest exam ever" is unfortunately all too often heard straight after the exam. This is because all the questions were completely new to them whereas during revision, they will often redo questions they have completed previously.
Cram for the Exam focuses on replicating the shock and unease that students feel in the actual exam by providing students with a mock exam where they will not have seen any of the questions before. The mock exam will be made available to students shortly before the actual exam when they should have completed their revision. Students who feel properly prepared may find the unseen material challenging, hence replicating the nature of the upcoming exam. By then completing a 2-hour coaching session online with Cardiff Maths Tutor, students will be given the tools on how to get over any initial panic of not knowing how to answer certain questions which will stand them in good stead for their actual exam.
Planning for the worst-case scenario will hopefully make students feel more confident and ready for their exam. My ideal response from a student upon completing the actual exam, would be "that was hard, but not as hard as the paper from Cardiff Maths Tutor".
