In more detail:
The Intermediate Tier Revision Course will focus on the WJEC GCSE Mathematics course, focusing on C and B grade historically likely topics.
I have completed extensive research on the past papers released for the course and have identified the most popular exam topics that achieve the highest marks; these will be the main focus during the intensive revision course.
The GCSE Intensive Revision Course is is tailored to the student's needs and focuses on improving exam technique. In preparation for the course, the student completes a Pre-Revision Course Assessment featuring past paper style examination questions which is submitted prior to attending; this allows me to identify the individual topics that need to be improved upon and ensures that these are covered in as much detail as possible during the course. The student will also be provided with their personal strengths and limitations via a Question Level Analysis colour-coded breakdown (see example). On completion of the course, the student will be provided with all resources from the course, including the video recordings so they can go back and review or listen to any explanations again.
Outline - 4 consecutive days online during school holidays - 2 hours per day -with a maximum of 12 students.
